The International HCH & Pesticides Association (IHPA) is an independent and non-political network of committed individuals that wants to draw international attention on the world-wide problems stemming from the production and use of HCH and other obsolete pesticides and its dangers for human health and the environment.

This site is a platform of resource documents, information and discussion for everyone working with obsolete pesticides in Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia.
In the two links below, you can read about how NATO with partners is brining in mobile units to various Eastern European countries in order to remove extremely dangerous chemicals and obsolete pesticides.
Since the summer of 2015, FAO and EU have started a project on removal of 400 tons obsolete pesticides in Moldova. According to the project, several other countries will benefit from the initiative.
